2010 - 2011 School Profile

Tri-City Christian School at a glance

1. The Community

Tri-City Christian High is located in Vista, California, just seven miles inland from the Pacific Ocean in northern San Diego County. With more than twenty-five educational institutions for Vista youth, and a business park that is home to over 800 companies, it is no wonder that Vista has been named one of the "50 Fabulous Places to Raise Your Family.” With a population of 94,431 Vista has a rich history and progressive future.

2. School Characteristics

Tri-City Christian School was founded by Tri-City Church in 1971. Today the school exists as a preschool-12, coeducational, college-preparatory school with selective admissions. The curriculum is rigorous, and high moral standards are encouraged and expected. Approximately 80% of our graduates will enter 4-year universities, with the remaining 20% entering 2-year colleges.

4. Curricular Distinctives

Authentic biblical integration is the hallmark of our curriculum as we seek to unify an uncompromised core of knowledge, a thoroughly biblical worldview, the opportunity to discover individual gifts and talents, the practice of moral and social responsibility, and transcendent purpose. The goal of the curriculum is to equip students to intentionally, effectively, and humbly engage and impact the culture in a redemptive manner.
