Music

• Each classroom has music instruction twice a week with a trained music teacher.
• Note-reading instruction, recorder playing, 4th and 5th grade choir, and 6th grade choir/drama provide students with valuable musical instruction.

Art

• Visual art instruction takes place in each classroom throughout the curriculum.
• An annual Art Fair in the spring allows students to showcase their creative talents followed by the ACSI Art Festival.

Digital Media Arts

• The new technologies of electronic communication are relegating old and freed media such as pamphlets, platforms and periodicals to a corner of the public platform.
• Family analog pictures and video are oxidizing in boxes in our closets. This course will teach students to capture these memories digitally, artistically edit and preserve them in a digital format that their families can enjoy for years to come.
• Podcasts will be developed and created as students learn to integrate media-arts into their academic course instruction.
