Life at TCCS is not confined to the four walls of the classroom as many teachers seek to inspire and engage their students with enriching educational field and study trips throughout the year. There are many fun-filled opportunities for students to enjoy their time at TCCS!
TCCS Elementary Highlights
Special Dress-up Theme Days
Our students enjoy special dress days according to a theme or activity that may be school-wide or curriculum based. Patriotic, school spirit, 1620 Day, Christmas, pajama day, etc. are just a few examples.
Spirit Wear Store Students and parents can shop at the TCCS Spirit Wear store and purchase t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and more. Store hours are Weekly.
Chapels Each Friday, our students worship the Lord at our weekly chapel. Our students often conduct and participate in leading the chapel. Worship, skits, sharing memorized verses, are just a few of the ways that our students contribute their gifts and talents in our vibrant chapel program.
Grandparents’ Day In the fall, our students invite their grandparents to enjoy a special day. A performing arts program involving all of our students as well as visiting the classroom provides our grandparents with a special day.
Performing Arts Programs Grandparent’s Day, Veterans’ Day, Christmas, grade level programs, are just a few of the many spectacular performing arts productions that honor and inspire our guests to see the value of a Christ-centered education.
Class Parties Occasions such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and the Last Day of School are celebrated with classroom parties organized by room parents.
Field Trips Students in all grades take field trips, carefully aligned with instructional goals, to enhance their learning experiences.
Enriching the learning experience Engaging educational experiences involve guest speakers consisting of parents, authors, artists, musicians, doctors, nurses, military, and other professionals.
