Life at TCCS is not confined to the four walls of the classroom as many teachers seek to inspire and engage their students with enriching educational field and study trips throughout the year. There are many fun-filled opportunities for students to enjoy their time at TCCS!

TCCS Elementary Highlights

Special Dress-up Theme Days

Our students enjoy special dress days according to a theme or activity that may be school-wide or curriculum based. Patriotic, school spirit, 1620 Day, Christmas, pajama day, etc. are just a few examples.

Spirit Wear Store

Students and parents can shop at the TCCS Spirit Wear store and purchase t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and more. Store hours are Weekly.

Chapels

Each Friday, our students worship the Lord at our weekly chapel. Our students often conduct and participate in leading the chapel. Worship, skits, sharing memorized verses, are just a few of the ways that our students contribute their gifts and talents in our vibrant chapel program.

Grandparents’ Day

In the fall, our students invite their grandparents to enjoy a special day. A performing arts program involving all of our students as well as visiting the classroom provides our grandparents with a special day.

Performing Arts Programs

Grandparent’s Day, Veterans’ Day, Christmas, grade level programs, are just a few of the many spectacular performing arts productions that honor and inspire our guests to see the value of a Christ-centered education.

Class Parties

Occasions such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and the Last Day of School are celebrated with classroom parties organized by room parents.

Field Trips

Students in all grades take field trips, carefully aligned with instructional goals, to enhance their learning experiences.

Enriching the learning experience

Engaging educational experiences involve guest speakers consisting of parents, authors, artists, musicians, doctors, nurses, military, and other professionals.

Art Festival
Students in grades 1-6 enter their art work in the yearly TCCS Art Fair. The winners go on to the ACSI District Art Festival.

Karate
A weekly Karate class is being offered after school in the extended care room. The Kobayashi Ryu Karate Do Studio is offering our elementary students the opportunity to enrich their lives mentally and physically. The students will develop motor skills, body awareness, major muscle coordination, and physical growth.

Elementary Cheer
Our elementary Cheer program offers opportunity for our young students to develop their Cheerleading skills. This program helps the children develop their coordination and confidence. They practice their routines and compete in competitions. They have brought home trophies this year that have been displayed in the elementary office.

SOAR Student Award from Boomers!
Students are awarded a free round of Miniature Golf and four free Tokens from Boomers! for receiving a SOAR Student Award from their teacher.
