The varsity football team finished with an undefeated league record and were crowned champions of the Pacific League for the 2nd consecutive year! A first round victory in the playoffs will match up the Eagles against Santa Fe Christian during Thanksgiving weekend. The varsity volleyball team won its 6th consecutive San Diego Section CIF Division V championship and is seeking its 4th consecutive appearance in the state championship. Coach Kristin Wright’s team also defeated Santa Fe Christian for the first time since 2006. Senior All-CIF outside hitter, Joy Reinke and sophomore outside hitter Mckenna Hollingsworth are keeping pace with the top players in the county.
For the second consecutive year, the Eagles’ women’s tennis program under the leadership of coach Mindy Shipley advanced to the CIF playoffs. A first round victory over Del Norte High School advanced the Eagles to the second round where the team’s fantastic season ended against La Jolla Country Day. Sophomore Kaylen Hicks is the first TCCS tennis player to advance to the CIF finals where she competed against the best of the best in San Diego. |
