Grandparents Leaving a Legacy for their Grandchildren and TCCS PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 23 September 2011 00:00

grandparentsday11The elementary campus was brimming with excitement as our students anticipated the arrival of their grandparents and special relatives for our annual Grandparents’ Day Celebration!

Students were delighted to perform special sing-along songs and poetry readings during chapel. Grandparents also enjoyed sharing lunch with their grandchild and attending class where teachers provided unique opportunities for grandparents and grandchildren to interact and create special memories together.

Grandparents’ Day is a school effort to honor and appreciate grandparents and to recognize the legacy and influence they have in their grandchild’s life.  “Many of our students are attending Tri-City Christian School due to the generosity of grandparents and their desire for their grandchildren to receive a Christian education.”  said Julie Pittman, Director of Admissions and Development.

Last year the Grandparents in Action organization was formed to provide an outreach and opportunity for grandparents to partner with TCCS. Our grandparents are encouraged to become involved in our school by volunteering their time, their gifts and talents as well as their resources.  For more information please contact Julie Pittman at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
