Tuition sustains us.
Philanthropy transforms us.

Annual Giving is part of Tri-City Christian’s Strategic Vision to develop our school and our resources to enhance programs across the campus. Unlike federally funded schools, we rely on the generosity of philanthropic donors to enhance the TCCS experience while keeping tuition as accessible as possible. For more information, please contact development@tccs.org.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7

The 2022 Annual Giving Campaign runs from October 3rd - November 29th. The goal is to have all Annual Giving gifts paid or pledged by “Giving Tuesday,” November 29th, with the final payment for pledges completed by June 30, 2023.

Tri-City Christian Annual Giving Campaign FAQ’s

Q: What is the TCCS Annual Giving?

Unlike federally funded schools, we rely on the generosity of philanthropic donors to enhance the TCCS experience while keeping tuition as accessible as possible. Through the generosity of our families and friends, Annual Giving has an immediate impact on our students both in and outside the classroom.

Q: What is the difference between Annual Giving and Capital Campaigns?

Annual Giving donations are given and spent annually. Capital campaigns are not conducted on a regular basis and are funds strictly used to help construct buildings, purchase property, pay for major renovations, cover curriculum change costs, etc.

Q: Why should I give to the Annual Giving?
Tuition sustains us, while philanthropy transforms us. A donation to TCCS is an eternal investment in our kids, our school, and our society. Your gifts allow us to expand student opportunities and experiences throughout our campus that would not exist on tuition alone. Annual Giving profoundly impacts our Eagle’s academic and spiritual life by providing the best practices in teaching; technology; safety and security upgrades; facility improvements; curricular and co-curricular enhancements; cutting- edge programs such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math); and accessibility to our school through financial aid.

Q: How exactly will my gift be used?

Annual Giving supports our students and faculty through the school’s operating budget. Should designated contributions exceed a fund’s budgeted need, the school directs the funds to the area of greatest need.

Q: May I restrict my gift to a specific program or project?

Yes, for the Annual Giving, gifts of $250 or more can be designated to Athletics, Fine Arts, Academic Excellence, Faculty Development, and more. However, we prefer to receive undesignated gifts. This gives our board, administration, faculty and staff the flexibility to apply your donations where they’re needed most and make the biggest impact.

Q: Why do you ask for donations in addition to tuition?

Tuition and fees do not cover the “true cost” of a Tri-City Christian education. Supporting Annual Giving is vitally important as it improves the Eagle experience for all our students and helps to keep Christian education as affordable as possible.

Q: How much should I give?

The key to philanthropic giving is that the donation be made cheerfully and sacrificially. We ask each Donor to prayerfully consider the gift amount for their family. We do not have a designated amount for giving. Every gift is appreciated and makes a difference, no matter the amount.

Q: If our family receives financial assistance for tuition, should we still donate to the Annual Giving program?

Yes. Our goal is for every family to participate in Annual Giving. As previously mentioned, it doesn’t matter how much you donate. The important thing is that we are “all in” and in unity with other families in supporting the best experience possible at TCCS. The goal is 100% participation, and your participation inspires others to give.

Q: How are Donors publicly recognized?

All gifts are greatly appreciated, and occasionally we recognize Donors alphabetically by name only (not amount) in the TCCS Annual Report, other TCCS publications, and on our website. Of course, we respect those wishing to give anonymously and will honor that upon request.

Q: Do you have a Corporate Matching Gift Program?

Yes. Many employers will match your gift to TCCS. You can check directly with your employer’s HR or Community Service department. Corporate matching doubles your gift and thus doubles its impact on TCCS.

Q: What are the ways in which I can donate to Tri-City Christian?

• Cash
• Check
• Credit Card & recurring gifts
• Stock (appreciated stock gifts avoid capital gains tax)
• Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
• Planned Gifts – Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRT’s), Gift Annuities, Insurance Policies, Bequests
