Spiritual Life
It’s all in our name, Tri-City Christian School.
We love to say that Tri-City is the area we serve, Schooling is the service we provide, and Christ is the center of all we do.
Every day, and in everything we do here at TCCS, our focus is always on how we can develop Christian character and cement a biblical worldview into each and every student. At the core of all we believe is the understanding that God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. We also recognize that we will live more fully when we operate in the light of who God has designed us to be.
In this way, “Spiritual Life” is not some separate addition to a person’s weekly activities, but is an ingrained and daily decision, step by step. We encourage this process through regular interaction and special activities such as weekly chapels, worship, retreats, guest speakers, and community service opportunities.
Spiritual Life at Tri-City
Weekly Chapels
Junior High & High School - Students engage in weekly chapels that include a time of worship and study of God’s word. Students hear from a variety of staff and guest speakers. Occasionally students are split into gender specific small groups for more in depth relevant conversations.

Biblical Integration
Every day in every class authentic Jesus followers as teachers are leading our students in studies of math, science, literature, and more. Students are learning these topics through a biblical lens, ultimately building a biblical worldview.
Service Projects
Over the past 16 years, we have been privileged to partner with Operation Christmas Child, a remarkable journey of love and generosity. Each year, school-wide we have consistently collected more than 600 shoe boxes filled with joy and delight. Spreading Jesus' love and contributing to a brighter Christmas season for children worldwide. Our 4th-6th Grade Elementary students participate monthly in a teacher-led Serve Our School (SOS) program. SOS offers students the opportunity to complete service projects that directly benefit members within our TCCS Community.
Elementary Spiritual Champions
Every month our K-6 students focus on a specific Christ-Like Character Trait (such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control). At our final Thursday Chapel of each month we recognize one Spiritual Champion from each of our K-6 classrooms.
