Retreats & Trips
Learning beyond the classroom.
At TCCS, our students step into real-world experiences that bring learning to life. From exploring history and culture in Europe to studying marine life and going on science adventures, to learning how our state began, Eagles engage with the world in meaningful ways.
Through these experiences, students grow academically, personally, and spiritually, in ways classrooms alone can't provide.
High School Retreats
Every year in the Fall, the entire high school goes away for a three-day retreat to focus, spiritually and relationally, on what God has in store for them in the coming school year. It’s a great time of worship, biblical teaching, class competitions, and plenty of free time to have fun connecting and building new friendships.
Junior/Senior Trips
Each year, our Juniors and Seniors will go on a trip, which will alternate between Europe and the East Coast. Your student will have the choice to go to one or both trips.
Europe: Our students won't just learn history, they'll walk through it. They'll stand on Omaha Beach, explore Churchill War Rooms, visit powerful memorials, and experience WWII sites firsthand across Europe. From England and France to Germany, students will take in iconic landmarks, museums, and cultural treasures that bring the past to life. This is an immersive, unforgettable journey designed just for them.
East Coast: Our students will head to the East Coast for an engaging trip exploring the people, places, and stories that shaped the Civil Rights Movement. Through impactful site visits and hands-on learning, students will connect with history in meaningful and memorable ways.
8th Grade Trip - Catalina Island
Our 8th graders enjoy a hands-on adventure exploring Catalina Island through marine biology, oceanography, and island ecology. Over three days, they snorkel, kayak, hike, and take part in engaging labs while building teamwork, independence, and a lasting appreciation for the natural world.
